It's almost Labor Day weekend, which can only mean one thing: Fall is fast approaching. If the somewhat cooler, crisper weather wasn't already an indication, Dairy Queen has some news that will definitely have you ready for autumn. Not only has the fast food chain released its new fall Blizzard Treat menu, which includes two new flavors and three returning favorites, but it also dropped a collection of candles (yes, you read that right!) to celebrate the launch.

First, let's talk flavors: Joining past winners Pumpkin Pie (available only through September), Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough, and Snickers, are Harvest Berry Pie and Heath Caramel Brownie. Harvest Berry Pie is made with vanilla soft serve, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries, pie crust piece, and graham; Heath Caramel Brownie, of course, is made with Heath pieces, brownie chunks, and caramel topping. And yes, if you've never had the famed Pumpkin Pie Blizzard, it does have real chunks of pumpkin pie in it.

For those who love ice cream so much you wish your whole home could smell like your favorite sweet treat, DQ decided to go above and beyond and release a collection of candles based on these new and returning autumnal flavors. The brand describes the Harvest Berry Pie Blizzard Treat candle as "like a hug from Grandma," while Heath Caramel Brownie smells like "breathable baking bliss," and Snickerdoodle Cookie Dough is the "essence of a cozy kitchen." Pumpkin Pie, of course, smells like everyone's favorite fall dessert, or as Dairy Queen describes it, "wisps of the pumpkin patch," and Snickers features "hints of trick-or-treating goodness."

While the limited edition (and free!) candles were only just released this morning alongside the launch of the new fall flavors, they've already gone out of stock (in fact, they were claimed in under thirty minutes!). DQ fans could sign up at DQCandleCollection.com to receive a complementary candle set while supplies lasted. There's no word on if more Blizzard Treat candles will become available on the website, but fans are encouraged to follow Dairy Queen on social media (@dairyqueen on Instagram and Twitter). According to DQ, a few lucky fans may be surprised with the candle collection, gift cards to DQ, and other goodies throughout the season. And you can always head to your local Dairy Queen to actually taste the new flavors for yourself.
